    Should have mentioned that. I have the Billie 5100s in the back. After a ton of research and my OCD kicking in, I finally decided that my 2004 Offroad is best served with Kings up front, ICON Progressive Leafs and Billies in the rear. I almost went with King resis in the back, but for my applications, would just be overkill. Glad I didn't and I understand your indecisiveness Paul. Next to that word is my pic in the dictionary.

    Keep researching and asking questions: you will eventually settle in on what you want.

    One word of advice: "Buy once, cry once" Buy what you want and don't go cheap. The cheap man..well, he pays twice. Best advice I ever received. That and don't bet the horses. ;)

    This^ was going to go all out but after some research and a few guided decisions i went with only 5100's all the way around. And honestly i couldn't be happier with my decisions and what was needed.

    I would recommend going with the ICON with the resi and CDC. Well that what i have on my truck and not thinking to really change my shocks ever. I have tried fox 2.5 rest before on a F-150, can't compare it to what I have now. On-road couldn't be happier, in fact it feels much better than how it was when it is was stock and off-road, I have been doing 50-55mph in the dunes and it handles much better than what I had in my mind. and as @Taco Addiction do it once cry once.

    Hmm, so the OP mentions an "improved ride" is what he is looking for... I am assuming he means on and off. I have Icon extended travel coilovers and while I have been super impressed with their off road performance (which is what they are built for...), on-road, the ride is extremely stiff. So much so that as my truck is my daily driver, long term I will probably not be running the ICONS. Hitting a bump seems to shake the entire truck. Again, love my icons but want to share that experience before you buy them for an improved on road ride, which is not what they are intended for. I think someone else mentioned this in the thread, but just do your own research. especially on the mechanics of the shocks and what they are engineered for. I didn't do that as much as I needed to before purchasing I admit.

    This. Save your pennies up. Kings are worth the extra cost. I've experienced the ride of both, preferring the Kings, especially for a vehicle doubling as a daily driver.

    Hmmm.... I love my Icons on the street. A significant improvement!

    They can always be tuned to your needs, or even have a cdc valve installed so you can adjust on the fly.

    What i do like about my ICONs, that when i go off-Roading I adjust the valve stiffens to 10 which is the maximum stiffness, but when i drive On road I put them at 1 which is the softest. Basically what you need is to know what you prefer when you adjust you shocks, I agree with @BlgnTacoOwner when you adjust the valve to become stiff you will have a terrible on road experience.

    Go with ICONs with the CDC, so you can adjest the shocks the way you like them.

    I just had an Icon stage 6 kit installed a couple of weeks ago. Went with the Dakar rear leafs. Set everything to 5 and it runs like a dream on road. Drove over 5 miles on washboard doing 40+ and it felt like fresh asphalt.
