You're welcome! I bought the abs bearing kit from Low Range which has the ABS axle housing specific seal, bearing, ABS tone ring, and all the other stuff like races and o-rings for the bearing replacement. It was high quality.

However after dealing with a junk yard that sold me an axle that was more worn under the bearing than the original axle, my mechanic said to just reuse my original axle shaft and that he'd give me a discount if I had to get it done again. If the axle is too worn under the bearing and doesn't have a good press fit then the in re race of the bearing ends up heating up and failing as the shaft is just spinning inside of it. By then I was already $500 into it (although I got some of my money back when I returned the worn out shaft to the junk yard for credit on another part). I knew that if I ended up needing to get a new $400 axle shaft plus labor (college student w/ no space for a press), then I'd end up spending another $700 on that side of the axle alone and started making plans on replacing the axle altogether housing and all so I wouldn't have to deal with this problem at all. My truck is a long travel / expo in the making so I knew I'd be going to a wider axle and eventually picked up a 2nd gen housing w/ some burned up bearings in the third member for $150 so I won't have to deal with it again.

If I were you I'd do some research to see if you can use the stronger aftermarket axle shafts that are also way cheaper and be done w/ this issue becoming a major expense. If Dirty Pool doesn't know about 01 and up housings and axles then I'd call up the manufacturer directly and get them to guarantee fitment of the bearing that your housing needs and the placement of the races, c clip, etc. to see if it will actually fit in your housing.
