Thought I would share this with you all. It is a promotional video someone made with the flight school I learned to fly at. That place is a second home to me. I would highly recommend it if any of you ever find your way to Dallas and want to learn to fly or rent aircraft.

Back in the Mooney today for 1.4.. getting current in that plane since I'm flying the wifey up to sedona over the weekend.

 

Excellent maintenance there too.. that's who maintains my T182T and a couple of my pilots have done their instruments thru monarch. a big thumbs up from me/my company.

 

I spent 2 or 3 summers working in the maintenance hangar. I loved it

 

Speaking of maintenance...off to work we go.

Looks like our thread is dying a slow death.

 

I haven't been able to fly the Cardinal for nearly a month because I've been waiting on parts so I haven't been able to contribute cool photos lately

 

I don't have much, but here's some bin art.

 

Man I'm not sure about LUV or even how it is today at the PAX carriers but, some of the crazy stuff we used to find behind pretty much any panel on about all the aircraft...pretty much get you fired today.

 

I loved nothing better than putting confetti into the escape rope panels over the pilots heads in the cockpit of our planes. I worked for American Eagle so we had enough new pilots that fell for it. Also use to put porn pics behind any removable panel in the cockpits.

 

My lake neighbor/ownership partner sent me a couple of pics to taunt me. He put our little yellow bird in the water, and has already got a fishing trip in with it. Just two more weeks till I make the 900 mile trip 'home' to get some flying in myself. It's been a long winter. Can't wait to go splash around.

 

Oh ya we did all sorts of shit. We must have kept Playboy & Hustler in business man. EVERY panel had as many pics as they could take.

 

Went up and did some Eights on pylons today and nailed a power-off 180 in the old school Piper Arrow I. Winds gusting to 28kts made it fun!

 

I watched a few MD11s go around today with maybe 35t gust. Of course we had the standard, for crappy weather, over speed inspections ect.

Ive actually stood inside #2 engine inlet, that thing is a beast!!! Tucson runway barely has the length for that monster to take off. Is that the one in the picture tail N787? if anyone knows
