Not on the recall list, not coming up on my Toyota app. But a quick peek reveals something else.

    First post :)

Less than 2700 miles on the truck and not on the recall list.

    Hopefully the pic attached.

Don't infer from my posting recall numbers a lack of love for the Taco - nothing could be further from the truth. I think it's a great truck, and I'm really happy with mine (2017 AC 6MT Sport), hell, I even like the suspension.

Thats their way of keeping the resale value up, folks miss thier truck, won't sell, less available in the market.

    Yep.
Getting it looked at next week. The thought of it locking up at freeway speeds terrifies me

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
I checked my VIN last night and "bingo" I am a winner (on the list). It has rained right at 5 inches yesterday and today -- so I did not crawl under and have a look-see.
I decided to call my dealer this morning (yes they have Sat. service) -he said I am the first they had heard from, and also he had not heard of the recall "HUH --what the heck". I said it was a "stop-sale" -- again he had not heard about it?
Good news -- without me bringing it in, said he will order the parts? they would call me when the parts? come in.
Whats the general opinion on this action by the dealer?

I called in on mine, they stated that they will check it first. If there's a leak then they will replace the gasket etc. Your dealer lied, they will not order the part without looking at the problem.
