So i'm looking into buying the rcd lift and i know i have to have 4.5 inch back spacing, but i use the stock trd off road wheels for winter. so i would like to know if i need to buy new 17 inch wheels with 4.5 bs or can i just keep my 16s and run wheel spacers?

You will only need spacers or 4.5 BS if you are planning on running 285's.

If so, you can run the spacers if you prefer not to buy 2 sets of wheels. Or if your stockers have 265's, you won't need spacers at all.

Note that most people run spacers with no problems at all, but there are a few folks on here who have had bad experiences or are uncomfortable running them.

That being said, spidertrax is the most reputable brand of spacers for our trucks.

it just says on the website that your wheels need to have 4.5 bs. so i think if you dont have the right it rubs on the new spindle maybe? but i just run the stockers with a 245 winter tire so i know i wont have any tire clearance problems. i also pm'd down south motor sports and they said wheel spacers probably wont cause any problems but it does void the kits warranty.

Ah, didn't realize it was a spindle lift. You may well need the spacers then. I'll let someone else chime in.
