After a good night run, having to sleep in the back seat of my truck due to the crazy wind, and then a day run with some old/new faces, it's definitely good to be home.

Anyone still up there? Made it back and debating to run up in the morning and wheel for a while.

Nah we all went home after finishing up lookout this afternoon, we're all f***ing exhausted haha. Last night was brutal, the wind was so bad...my g/f and I slept in the softopper but the wind kept blowing it wide open even with it velcroed down tight. Kept waking up in the middle of the night getting blasted with dirt and wind in the face. Sucked lol.

The wheeling was tons of fun as usual, great group and good times. I have a wicked farmer's tan though :annoyed:.

Oh I'm sure it was a miserable night trying to sleep in the wind. Sounds like wheeling made it worth it. I'll catch the next ride.

Nah man, it was all 4WD, although there are fire roads that can get you around all of it.

With the winter we just had, I'm sure MJT is quite different from when I last ran it. I'd be down to do it again as long as there's some one to give me a tug through a couple obstacles. #opendiffproblems

Dash cams of pulling up to the "Fingers" and watching people drive up that steep silt hill.

And if anyone is curious what they look like following from behind while offroading here are some dash cam videos of your rears.

Hey guys I'm going to buy a front diff from a 98 Tacoma tomorrow and just wanted to know if there is anything I should pay attention to when I go to buy it.

For example if I was going to buy a used truck and wanted to test the front suspension, ball joints, wheel bearings, etc I could jack up the car and check for play.
Is there anything like this that I should do to the different. I have experience with diffs but mostly chevy 10 bolts and 12 bolts. Any info helps. not anything like the Toyota clams
