You're gonna get raped on shipping springs regardless of the spring pack. Either wait till memorial day sales or pay the shipping. A lot of places do free shipping as the discount. That puts the expo springs at $600. You don't want to compromise with a block. That will inherently make your ride quality worse, change your droop and bump points and put a weak link in your rear suspension. Fine for a mall crawler but I'm just gonna assume that's not what you plan to do with your truck ...

For full flush of auto trans fluid (12 qt): what brand do you guys recommend?
    $80 = OEM Toyota WS
    $50 = Valvoline MaxLife synthetic
    other?

If I do the OEM fluid, I could just use half as much rather than a real full flush.

Found a bottle of Vodka in the back of my cabinet. Had since 2003-ish...
Took a few swigs straight from the bottle. WHOA! Smooth like water at first but burns to breathe afterwords.

Made a Swedish/Estonian bastard that was dangerously good. Ikea Lingonberry syrup in the Estonian vodka. Shit, too much, it's starting to kick in now...

It was good. Straight up really was like drinking water as long as I didn't breathe. No next day ill feelings so I guess the years in the cabinet didn't hurt it.

LOL. Just gave it a little flavor. Pinky up is when you mix it the opposite way: touch of alcohol in a lot of extremely sugary fru-fru stuff.

LOL, already cashed in for truck mods.

Actual mid-life crisis moment, I'm increasingly missing having a V8. I need growling beast in the garage. I keep going back to the idea of having something that looks like a complete POS outside but something gnarly under the hood. Like a ragged 70s vette or 80s Camaro with a new forced induction LS in it. I just don't have the tools for that work.

Or, instead of trying to talk her into a 4Runner to haul the kids, maybe she needs a Sequoya with the 5.7 (and straight pipes )

Sequoya is probably your best bet. You get a V8, and she gets a new car.

The 4runners are the best looking vehicles on the road though. Too bad there isn't the V8 option anymore.

Or a procharger if you don't want to screw with nitrous.

Ragged 350z with a 5.3 whoretec in it and a big turbo. 5.3's hold boost really well.

Or if ya wanna drop some money go ls3 with ls7 heads, a big cam, and headers. 600whp right there.

I used to want a 3rd gen 'maro. A guy i used to work has a '86 that he droped a 502 into, and he procharged it too. I don't really know many details of anything else, but i know it's a bad bitch.
