I was being sarcastic. However here is some more crazy paranoid messed up logic for you: :)

    Good point! No Worries.

The good news is that after going to the recall site and seeing:

"There are no open Safety Recalls or Service Campaigns for this vehicle"

I can now sleep better knowing my Tacoma is perfect and bug free in every way possible.

As it stands there aren't any open right now for the OR, sleep easy and if yours is leaking, get the warranty work done to get it fixed.

    No worries.

Sorta wanted to try out the Off Road loaner Yaris, but that's another story ...

If it's on the list or you get notified, take it in for the free torque inspection. No need to sit around to "wait and see".

My OR has 16.5k miles on it with no leaks, if it ends up on the list it's going in regardless.

That's what I'm going to do. I talk to them Friday morning. He told me to wait on letter, unless it starts leaking. I have not even got paper work to get tags transferred over yet.

BTW, if a dealer tries to tell you you have to wait for the letter, call BS on it, here is the wording of the recall.

Please note that only owners of the covered vehicles will be notified. If you are contacted by an owner who has not yet received a notification, please verify eligibility by confirming through TIS prior to performing repairs. Dealers should perform the repair as outlined in the Technical Instructions found on TIS.

To add to that, if it's leaking and you take it to the dealership for repairs, be prepared to leave your truck if they don't have the parts.

How can one find out if their truck is on the list?

I just checked my '16 off road and noticed oil stains around the diff, no drops on the floor yet.

Nope, it grows on two jobs and 70 hour work weeks.
