What OME spring is reccommended for full armor all around and winch?

Is it the 886?

 

I'm thinking of getting a 2-3" lift kit for my 2017 SR5 double cap 4wd. What kit do you guys offer for on and offroad driving? What tire size do you recommend also?

What lift height will I get if I order the 5100's on the second notch with OME 888's?

 

I have a 2017 TRD Sport. I put the Eibach adjustables (E60-82-007-02-10)on the front, TT-55289 ToyTec Boss Rear shocks and the TAC-AL Add a leaf for the rear. I wanted shocks front and rear that had matching piston rates. I wanted a spring and not blocks in the back. Spring helped on load weight. Just do not use the top ring on the front shocks. Got about 2.5 inches of lift all around. Used a yard stick to measure before and after. Bilstien does not make a rear shock that can handle the lift. So I went with the above shocks because they do.

 

Not recommended, The bottom setting on 888 should get you about 2.75 inches in the front after settling

A couple things:

Can I just say something? Been searching "leveling kit" and keep seeing multiple people get a "leveling kit" that is 3" front/1.5" rear. That is not a levelling kit! That is a lift kit!!

OK anyways..

Every time I look at my truck and see the front sitting low I feel a stronger and stronger need to "level" it. Really thinking a spacer for the front will be fine for me. Has anyone put a reasonable .5" spacer on the front, had it aligned, and had trouble with it? Seems like most people with "issues" put a huge spacer up there and/or didn't get an alignment. Mostly DD duties with a few off-road trips a year and some occasional time on gravel/fire/forest roads. You should have no trouble at all running that, according to Marie at headstrong that lift to give you about 3/4 to 1 inch lift depending on model truck.

 

I had spacers in the front of my 2010 (and an extra leaf in the back) Was quick way to gain a suspension life. Had a lock shop do the work and check the alignment afterward...Never a problem - Clay

Wait, so the TTHA-CK lift for the 2nd gen (advertised as a 3inch lift) is really a 2.5 inch lift?

 

Please explain your head slap ? Marie said those spacers she sells will lift 3/4-1" depending on what truck configuration.

 

My observed experiences with that companies business practices will insure that I never purchase from them nor will I trust what they claim.

Wow... I am surprised to hear you say this. I have had very good experience with Marie and with Headstrong. Great understanding of their products and how they will affect your truck.

QUESTION: I recently purchased a ready lift 3-2 inch lift (blocks and spacer) for my truck but was also thinking about purchasing 5100 shocks to add with the blocks and spacers. Would I need to change the Springs and UCA??

 

Anything over 2-2.5 in the front, you're gonna want new UCA's. Yes you can drive without them, but if you want a decent alignment, get the UCA's

 

Okay thanks! So that 2-3 block lift and 5100's combo would work? Just need UCA's.

 

I mean, it'll work. A lot of people have ill words in regards to 3 inch spacer lifts, rightfully so. It's not the best thing for long term use. But will it work? Yeah
