Those and some rubber washers should do the trick.

I missed the $59 deal but scooped it up for $68 anyway. Never knew these were so cheap compared to the pelicans. Stoked to get this thing set up.

It's what I've been running for 2 years without an issue, and moved it around a few times, front to back, side to side. Going to pick up another one sometime soon.

With the crazy temperature swings in CO (70 and sunny to 20 and blizzard in 24 hours, I threw some silica gel in there to try and absorb any condensation and it's worked fine. No leaks from the seals (knock on wood).

Only complaint is i wish they were a little deeper, or had ones that were.

I've got one of these in my fridge, probably add one for both boxes. They are reusable, just pop them in the oven and cook out the humidity.

My only concern with the locks on the latches is that they'll corrode and get stuck locked.

Keep a drill. Haha just kidding

But for the cable locks around my spare tire, propane tank, and water can, I keep bolt cutters in my truck in case they corrode lol

You can spray PB blaster or WD 40 in your locks after rain or otherwise exposed to water. slide your key in and out a few times to work it in and it keeps all the tumblers in the locks free and moving. I actually do this to my locks at home on our external gates and it has worked for 5 years. Just make sure to wipe up any residue that will leak out of the lock so it doesn't get on your paint. I'd wrap the lock with a rag for a day to make sure I got it all.

4 pack of masterlocks from hardware store.

    Nothing special.

A lock will only keep out an honest thief.

Yeah I know if someone really wants it they're going to take it. What length did you use?

What length locks? Short shank...or whatever you call them.

Also. Consider replacing some or all the crossbar hardware with security head bolts. So if some asshole really wants your stuff he will have to earn it, not just unbolt the crossbars and walk off.

I went with spanner head bolts.
