If it makes you feel better I had to use the cutoff wheel to remove the tie rod jam nuts a few weeks ago. Rust is a PITA

Yes it is a Trail Gear but the bolts will go in from either side, without removing the bumper.

Cleaned MAF and checked for something obvious to cause a drop to 9 mpg. No luck

I've been working on an 82 Chevy S-10 the last three days so all I've done is drive my Taco for a few minutes. Been fun to work on a carb'd vehicle for a change though. Nothing like a little Bernoulli effect to get the fuel flowin.... Should be business as usual now that my buddy and I have that thing sorted out so back to the Taco. Gonna hit up the local ORV tomorrow to test everything an make sure the Taco is happy.

Made a lumber run so I can build myself a work bench/garage storage. Rides much better with weight in the back.

Impulse red is my favorite first gen color. Just about any "normal" rim color works: black, silver, bronze, whatever. Those copper SCS RAY10s look pretty amazing with that color, imo.

When I started my search, I didn't even consider red as an option. After over a year I finally expanded my search to include it and found my truck right away. It's really grown on me

Sounds about right. I was looking for super white and ended up with imperial jade mica. The color has grown on me, like a fungus

I'm looking to illuminate my KC off road light switch backlighting by using the dash light rheostat. Apparently there is an extra unused Rheostat plug? I can't seem to find it. From the dash the harness goes into the rheostat dimmer, and then splits into the ECT switch.

Has anyone used this apparent extra rheostat plug, or used the ETC button to illuminate the backlighting on their accessory switches?

    Trans cooler install today...

Side note: of course the wires and everything were cleaned up after it was actually secured

Also had the relocate one of the horns and extend the wires. Didn't figure out that the bracket to mount the horn was the ground for quite some time because there's two wires going into it and I had just assumed... derpIMG_6514.jpg

Hill climbs and descents were fun. Got to use the winch to help my buddy in his S10 get up a climb and I fucked up my alignment at some point so straight is slightly left now. Haha good day had by all
