It's not about that many having a problem. It's that some assemblies spanning that vin range might have had the defective axle installed and they don't know what trucks they went under. Food companies do the same. If it's determined that a batch of product may have been compromised and they can't determine exactly, then they'll recall everything from when they had a known good product to when the problem was detected. Lots of good food gets thrown away because of the possibility of maybe a handful of tainted examples.

Oh I know the 16/17's have problems, not questioning that.....but I also have a 2007 Dodge charger and have had to redo the front several times plus other dodge quirks..( known dodge issues)...my point being is that I wouldn't join a dodge forum just to piss and moan, I don't think it would be a nice thing to do for the dodge community who love their vehicles ...so I just don't get why people who clearly hate their trucks want to stay..or even keep the truck....like I said ..was just tryin to lighten the mood some but it backfired I guess.

As someone else said it won't do it and say what you will our work trucks have these and they are used at least 150 to 200 times a day by the nature of our work and in the two years we have had them I have never seen or heard of there being a issue with them. They are used so much the texture on the rubber ring is worn completely off. At first I thought it was ridiculous but once you drive one for a while it's actually really nice.

Ya, I had my Taco stolen, and since I don't do drugs, the Rebel was the only legal non 'script pain killer that I could find.

It was either a Rebel or Tacoma, and my brother went out and got a Rebel, so I got a 159hp Tacoma :frusty:

But really... His reasoning for starting this shit show of a thread was weak. He is just added fuel to the fire on comparing one trucks failure to anothers.

Believe what you want bud, shit show didn't start until you 5 commented with a demeaning remark. I mean the first four comments after OP were fuel for the fire. If you aren't willing to put it out, it will continue to burn brother. Its funny, you want to stay on topic, but at the same time you feel it's ok to belittle the original topic of the thread. There is no logical way you can explain your actions. @Rowdymoon wanted to ease tension, not bring a barrage of BS. Think before you act next time, makes things easier for you and me.

welcome back to the Smitty Show.

In the OP's first post in the thread, it was pretty clear he was saying all makes can have shit happen.
