    Right on!

Yes, had to trim the corner of the flares and the inner plastic trim (I have pics of it in post #60). Also you will need to do the CMC chop. It will rub under certain conditions, full turn, under compression, and hard braking.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, the name was inspired by Transformers from the 80s'. Shows how old I am. LOL

    All Pro Hi-Lift Mount.

60" Hi-lift mount barely fits about 1/4 inch to spare on each side. Had to add a 1" spacer block to clear the bed supports.

Great clean build...also hello to one of the only other manual tranny guys here. Just a few questions...
    1. Why the bed support?
    2. How much did the TRD Short Shifter cost you? I can't say I'm a fan of the stock shifting...pretty sloppy.
    3. Did you find the 285's messing with your gearing at all with a manual?

    Thanks. Hello, fellow manual tranny.

    1. When you put a shell on the bed, it puts stress (downward and outward) on the sides of the bed. The bed supports helps reinforce the side and hopefully prevent them from being pushed outwards. You can see from others the effects of having a shell on the truck (the side gaps between the tailgate and the bedsides get wider at the top. Another benefit of the bed supports it gives additional tie down points.

    2. I think I got the shifter for $225. The short shifter really helps tighten up the sloppiness. It won't be as good as a sports car but much better than stock

    3. Not exactly sure what you mean, but nothing noticeable. Gas goes down of course but I hope to fix that with some gears down the road.

    Whe

Thanks! Where did you get the bed supports from? Might have to invest in that. And I've just be heard of some power loss and such from auto tranny folks with 33's. Curious if you noticed anything like that.

TW member @Bentrodder makes them. Great guy, great product, great price.

As for power loss, depending on the weight of the tires is my guess. If you got E rated tires, you will need more HP to get that heavier mass going is probably whats going on.

Found a nice way to tuck the Heretic lights under the Toprac vs having them protrude out on the sides. Still need to wire them up. Gonna have to make a custom wiring harness to simplify the number of connections to the engine bay.

    Cubby Covers Installed

Great product by @micwillia, pretty easy install. These cubby covers came with 3M moulding tape but I decided to use adhesive sealant to ensure a tight waterproof fit. The set I bought also came with rubber strip for the doors and body plugs for the drain holes. Gonna put a strip of butyl tape behind the lip of the cubby as an added layer of dust protection. One more point of entry for dust hopefully eliminated.

Just a forewarning, it may be difficult to get the cubbies reinstalled with the bottom cover already in place. They will most likely interfere with the bottom edge of the cutout in the bed. The covers were intended to be installed after the cubby was in place because the cover attaches to both the cubby and bed liner. I've heard of others that have just made a small cutout or filed down that spot in order to install the cubbies.

LOL, I just found out that they didn't fit. Trying to figure out if I want to file down the opening or reinstall with the cubbies in place. I'm thinking I would get a better seal if I installed them with the cubbies in place. This is what I get for not reading the installation instructions. :(
