I ordered a set of Duratracs from discount tire trough their ebay store. When I went to have them put on I noticed some small chunks of rubber along the outer tread were coming off. It looked like small pieces were sliced off all the way around. Well I took some pictures and then had them mounted anyway. When I got back to the office I called up their customer service and talked to Mike who handles their ebay sales. As we talked I sent him the pictures, and he told me it was likely UPS that did it with their conveyor belts. Anyway he said he would take care of me by getting me a new tire and then would give me a shipping authorization to send the damaged one back. He then said I would get a call in a few minutes from another guy who would let me know the specifics.

Well in less than 10 minutes I got a message on my phone explaining that they were sending a brand new tire right away. He went on to say that UPS would not reimburse them for the damaged tire so I might as well just have it for a spare. He said the damage looked more or less cosmetic so I could run it just fine.

Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know the exceptional service I received even though I bought from them online through their ebay store. The guys couldn't have treated me better. Plus now I have an extra tire!:D

I included a trip to Discount tire in Oregon during a summer holiday for 4 new Michelin AT2's and the service and price was excellent.
In Canada the same tire was $100 MORE per corner!!!

Thats the only place Ill ever go for tires. The customer service is awesome, they price match, and prorate your unrepairable tires towards the purchase of a new one. Best of all, the tech at the one I use has a Total Chaos LT truck so offroad talk makes time go by fast!

I had a bad experience with Discount Tire. Their workers scratched up my new Weld wheels. Bunch of noobs working there but it's probably not indicative of all stores. Glad you had a good experience.

I've ordered from them 3 times now and it has been awesome everytime! It's super fast shipping, and great prices! I live in Canada, and they blow away the prices up here even after shipping...

Their free shipping and prices really can't be beat. Got some 265/70 Michelin M/S 2's for $160 each recently.

I've bought many a set of tire and several sets of wheels from Discount Tire. I just had a set of BFG and wheels installed on my 04 Tacoma. They did not give me the wheel lug nut adapter, went back several times to try and get it, including this morning. They said they would come to my house and remove them and replace. I did not want that, told them when I drive into town next I will let them do it, I was driving my Chevy at the time. They called an hour later and said they had found the adapter on the shop floor. Stopped by and picked it up. I guess it was my turn to get lousy service, but previously they had been great. All is well now.
