My 85-pound shelter alumni, Jake, caught in a rare non-napping moment. I don't think his previous owners were kind to him. He bears some physical and emotional scars. He's a big love dog ... unless you're the UPS or pest control guy.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Went and did some wheeling today to get Drake use to being in the truck. Got a couple good pics of him.

Don't know if they're not supposed to have it with some of the meds/antibiotics, but we usually added a couple spoons of plain whole milk yogurt when our boy was a puppy. Now he goes nutzo and will gobble his food when we give it to him.

My aunt and uncle had a bulldog with the same name. It would get into everything so he got his named changed from F/Tucker pretty often.

Thank you SO much for the baby food recommendation. This morning tony wasn't eating or drinking anything, and his bowels were making quite a bit of noise. We got some baby food, and he still wouldn't eat that. We ended up getting a food syringe and putting the baby food into his mouth while he was laying there. After a couple rounds of that over the course of an hour, he ate a whole bowl of food!! He seems to be doing a lot better now, and hopefully I can get a solid stool sample for his appointment tomorrow at his regular vet.

Outstanding! Glad it worked and he's doing better. Fingers crossed he drops a good deuce!

Meanwhile, my girls don't know it yet but their food is getting a little au jus tonight. Should take Lucy about 30 seconds to down hers. Kiki may take 2 minutes...but she's tiny.

I made a deal with my wife a couple of years back about her supporting me with doing the engine swap and 4x4 conversion. I was to get her a dog for her support. We got a lab and boxer mix but he didn't work out because he would chase our 13 yr old cat around. So today I finialy kept my side of the bargain and we went out and got this little guy for her. 11 weeks old and so far the cat is doing ok with him.

Hoping so too! He's got crazy eyes now for the chicken and rice, so lucky for him the vet recommended a whole lot of the bland diet! He's gonna be eating goood for the next week.

So far. That dog has a deeply sinister look about him. Keep an eye on that dog.

Didn't get a pic, but yesterday I came upon a pit bull / wiener dog. Funniest looking thing I have ever seen. He was awesome. Picture a wiener dog on steroids with brindle stripes.
