For sure, I'll be buying my pro grill from Titus Will Toyota and also am looking for the 2017 pro wheels as well. I've been lurking here for a few years. Owned a few tacomas over the past few years but all were automatics. I'm loving the manual trans. in this truck. Seems like they're pretty rare in this color where I'm from in Florida. The dealer who I bought from Toyota of Sarasota said there were only 2 or 3 in the state. Guess I got lucky

QS is really rare here in NJ. It took me 6 months just to find any 6MT to test drive and about 4 months to get mine after I ordered it.

Add me to the quicksand 6MT club! It was well worth the 2 month wait. I've had it about a week and just rolled over 500 miles. I'm liking it much better than the 16 auto I had (traded it in with 50k miles)

since I got them, I havent went offroad yet. I drive a lot, on road is good. its a bit noisy compared to the stock tires but nothing too annoying! I have been using Toyos on diff vehicles for a number of years now and Im happy

I guess I'll have to go and trade my 16 Quicksand TRD off-road AT for a 2017 Quicksand TRD manual. (Maybe)

My first post in Tacoma World after going to this website everyday for the last year and half.

Loved my 2016 Black TRD Offroad A/T (factory special order, 4 month wait) but had issues after a year of driving it, around 10k miles. Crank sensor failed twice and truck shut down mid-driving, luckily both times on local roads, and then had very irregular shifting patterns after the part was replaced (similar to what most A/T people complain about). Dealership installed the Shift Feeling Enhancement update, but I felt like it only made the shifting more sporadic and acceleration more delayed. Obviously could not convince dealership/corporate that there were any issues after multiple inspections but ended up working out a good deal with both dealership and Toyota national to trade for a Tacoma TRD Offroad '17 (factory special order, 3 month wait).

My cousin convinced me to get the Quicksand in MT, same truck that he drives and beats up offroad without any issues. Never drove stick in my life but so far (60 miles on new truck) I am very happy that he pushed me towards it and I am a huge fan of MT now. He also got me to work the sport hood into the deal with my local dealership and it was definitely worth the hassle.

Through the experience, I learned a lot from reading posts in TW so just wanted to say thanks to this forum and to all of you who share information, it made me an educated consumer and I would not have gotten the repairs, service, deals, modifications, etc without having this forum for reference/support. Thought I'd finally join TW so I could also contribute.

No crazy changes to the new QS truck (grille, tailgate letters, plasti dip emblems, pro wheels) and know that there is still a lot I could do but pretty happy with how it looks and drives. It was helpful to see photos of the mods on this specific forum since many of you guys already made these changes.

2017 DCSB TRD Offroad Quicksand MT 4x4
TRD Pro Grille (ordered on Amazon)
Sport Hood (dealer installed and painted)
TRD Pro Wheels (purchased on Ebay, dealer mounted)
Roof Rack, mud flaps, tube steps, etc
No more JBL since they don't offer in MT and there is noticeable difference (but looking to upgrade in future)
Already owned Bakflip G2 Cover (haven't transferred to new truck yet but love it)

Finally happy with the truck I own and glad I was able to stay with the Tacoma. Hopefully don't have major issues going forward and can just hunt/fish without multiple trips to the service department.
