Anytime David! Yeah I got a couple buddies going on the DA BB, Do you know Jeff "Lobster" and Jesse Beck? And Cameron won the NORRA right?? I was gonna talk to Cameron and see if he needs a Medic/bike tech/sweep guy so I can slip in for cheep, but I'm not betting on it unless I can get one of my buddies to pull for me, I know a ton of guys are chomping at the bit to go!! This is the trip that raises money for the orphanage down there, forgot which one...but would love to give some kids some wheelies on my bike! The kids get so excited when they see dirtbikes in Baja it makes me happy to give them a smile! Poor kids..they need happy times more than anyone.
    Love your reports David!!

Just dont use any of the others, they crack!! Incorrect heat tempering from the manufacturer. they are brittle and can and will eventually break with cycling.
Arc, you mean the stock leafs aren't suppose to look like a frown? Haha..

Santa Marta, just south of San Vicente, is the orphanage he gave a big check to in Trail of Missions 2014.
I saw Cameron won the Mexican 1000, yes! Finally...
    I am happy for him.
    How about my coolant question?

50/50 or the pink Toyota stuff, although don't you do trips when it's snowing too?

Oops, damn dirtbikes sidetracked me, Im like a squirrel sometimes! Yes Santa Maria, I believe they were gonna do that this time too, but I could be wrong. Im sure hes pretty stoked!

So the coolant, Yes it would be good to do a drain and fill, the coolant looses its properties after a while and becomes much less efficient in cooling and corrosion protection.
A couple ways to go, either use the standard Toyota red concentrate so you can mix a richer than 50/50 ratio, I tend to run a 70/30, (more coolant) and de ionized water. Or just run the pink pre-dilluted type.

What is this pink, pre-diluted stuff you both mention? Is just draining the radiator sufficient or should the block be flushed? Can you do this when I have you do a visual check of my truck Jason? Tell me what to buy at the auto parts store. Thank you.

Hey David, you can also get the Aisin Coolant from regular auto parts stores, its a low silicate type as well. Only comes pre-mixed AFAIK but that would work fine, you will need 2 gallons for a radiator drain and refill. And yes I can do it when I look at the truck, no problem.

I did, cant vote twice, lol.

    Hi Everyone!
This afternoon while I was lying on the couch and watching Judge Judy or something my neighbors house caught on fire! Thank God my neighbor , the bro's down the street and I were home and the quick response from the Santee Fire Dept. the fire was contained to just structural damage and no one got hurt! If no one was home my neighbors house,my house and maybe more would of been burnt to the ground!:ohsnap:
Still have adrenaline rushing, Thanks for listening!!! Here are some pics, smells worse than it looks!!!IMG_1210.jpg

Not yet! Still under investigation. Adjuster and the City coming out. Fence is a easy fix but the fire department had to chop off my neighbors roof with a chainsaw for a safety measure.

Anyone down for a last-minute Mojave & Death Valley camping trip this weekend and into the week? The temperatures are dropping to 80s (and cloudy) in Mojave and low 90s in Death Valley, which are both totally tolerable for driving through. The girlfriend and I are going.
