Is cruise control as easy as the intermittent wipers?

All the long trips I take to car shows, having cruise control for the drive out to Carlisle this summer would be nice...

 

You have a reg cab, so it might not be plug-n-play.

I have a 2014, which needs an extra wire ran. I'm waiting for my warranty to expire before attempting this. Your 2010 may already have this harness.

I'm just glad the wipers were plug-and-play. If it's too much hassle I won't bother. I've lived without cruise control for almost 8 years, after all!

 

I had a little incident yesterday in the alley in front of the bar where I work. I was passing on the right and this woman in the shotgun seat of a parked Honda Pilot blindly opened her door without checking to make sure the coast was clear. The impact literally guillotined the left mirror clean off of my truck. Pilot has a chip in the paint where my mirror hit the door. We've decided to pay for fixing our own vehicles and let bygones be bygones.

FYI my dashcam footage proves I was NOT at fault.

I've found the entire mirror assembly for less than $40 online (incl. S&H), and ordered it today.

2005 Reg cab PreRunner 2.7L R155, mine had all wires in place.

 

What does R155 mean?

Also, do you have the highly sought-after regular cab SR5?

 

5-speed manual trans.
It is SR5, I didn't know it's highly sought after, I got it 5k under value because seller couldn't get rid of it lol.

 

I've never seen an SR5 regular cab in person...
