Between driving to work and back home today, I counted 8 3rd Gen Tacoma's , 3 sports and 4 off road plus SR5's
That is the most that I have counted in one day , FYI my daily drive is 20 mins both ways.
    Mostly highway
So"...... How many have you seen lately, in one day

I went by the Nissan dealer today and saw two Third Gens sitting on the used lot. I was going to look at the diesel Titan!

I have counted recently out of curiosity, I mainly see more 2nd Gens, and 1st and 3rd Gens are about equal.

I've seen a couple around town. The XD Titan and the new F150 rule around here though. The Nissan dealer is selling the crap out of the XD's.

Here in West Virginia they are popular. I passed by 6 3rd gen tacomas on my way home from work and in my work parking lot there are 3 other 3rd gen tacomas (a blue one, a inferno one, and a quicksand one) I'm the MGM one in the parking lot.

There are 4 2nd gen tacomas in my work parking lot too.

Waiting for High pressure fuel pump and CPS to fail. Last problem was odometer and gauge cluster had to be replaced last month and rear shock was leaking

I think your truck was built from the very first batch of parts that went to the Texas plant. Had to be one of the first 50 trucks built or they had issuesome with calibrating the robots that assemble these trucks.

I see maybe 3-4 3rd gens a week. Lots of 1st and 2nd gens though. I see more F-150 & 250's than anything else around here.

So let me get this straight. You paid 40k for a TRD Sport and financed it for 84 months which means that you are most likely upside down like a mofo, and you are looking at rolling all that negative equity into a truck that starts around $44,000? Um... good luck with that dude.

Kind of funny how you start noticing the same vehicles that you drive. Today being the first day out on the road in my new truck I wasn't counting but I noticed at least 3 Tundras and 3 3rd gens and quite a few older Toyota pickups (not Tacos). On the freeways of Southern California I'm sure there were many I didn't notice.

If he is that upset with his Tacoma why not trade it? If he can afford it do it. I could technically afford to trade but it would be a dumb move financially for me.

Based on some of the other posts that dude has made, the reason he still has his Taco is because he can't afford to get rid of it. Like I said, if he wants to roll down that road, good luck dude. Chances are if he is financing a Sport for 84 months, he can't afford a Titan. Of course, that is all speculation on my part. Maybe the dude is loaded and he likes hooking car dealers up with fat commissions.
