3. Asshat (boss) decides to go full tilt manic to show off for some of his family that's in town for Derby
4. I feel like shit this morning.

So how's YOUR day so far?

 

My wife came home yesterday and said she quit her job

She had given her 2 weeks notice last Monday

Says she couldnt finish it out......

 

Yeah, I know. Good job babe

So she now has all week to clean up the house!!!

She starts her new job on Monday

 

Well...That answers my next question.... (Does she have another job lined up?)

My wife and I started off the same way. She quit a good job just weeks after the wedding. It put us in a bind for a while, but we made it through. Next stop was the job she still has. Better in some aspects, but still "just a job". As life goes on, I've found NO JOBS get me excited to roll out of bed in the morning. Just gotta find one you can tolerate and try to keep motivated. Once a person is married, ANY decision has effects on the other person. Gotta look at what is best for "the big picture". That is the ONLY thing keeping me at my present job.

Woman/wife = Happy? Someone needs to have a long talk with you on this one...... This hits REAL CLOSE to home for me this particular fine morning....

 

That's pretty quick to find new work. I put in a two Week notice in February and my employer (Oilfield) was surprised I even put in a notice. We're understaffed and had pay cuts so long now, any kind of a fair job offer out here experienced hands quit right away. I changed companies cause the work conditions were crappy and I could never get time off.

 

Oh yeah, she had the new job lined up

Its more money, just a lot longer commute
