    I admit, I did not.

How are there that many cars in the parking lot?

The other place, Baxter Park Inn, is 1000x better. Really the best you could possibly hope for by rural Maine standards. The owners live there and seem to run the place mostly on their own. Really nice people, and they keep the place clean and well maintained.

Also amusing about Millinocket is I'm convinced it's home to the world's smallest Hannaford and the world's smallest Tractor Supply.

I don't remember the names of the other places we came across, but everything that was worth a damn was pretty expensive since it was summer. There were some amazing looking places on moose head lake (I think that's the name), but they were 400+ per night. So we planned accordingly and brought alcohol

Yes Moosehead Lake is a place, in Greenville Maine, near the b-52 site.

I don't get what people do with all these patches. I could see pinning one or two in my truck if it had sentimental value. But most of them in the group buys seem kind of weird to spend money on.

Who doesn't want to cover their entire headliner with patches? :notsure:

Maybe it's a Ford thing, but I've never had the urge to put patches on my headliner.

My closing is in two days. I took Thursday and Friday off to move stuff. Turns out it's supposed to pour on Friday and probably the weekend too, so I guess I have to move everything that I can't fit in the cab or under the tonneau cover on Thursday now.

Of all the trailers I have access to, there is not a single enclosed one. Oh well.

Might be worth just renting a Uhaul truck for the day.

Thanks! It's sort of my second house. I have/had another, but it wasn't only mine. Long story.

That's true. I am borrowing my friend's beast of a trailer (built with mobile home axles and weighs 2700 lbs empty) and another smaller lawn equipment trailer. He also offered to help with his truck, so between two trucks and two trailers I should be able to get a good amount up there per trip. I figure I'll see how far I get on Thursday. If I finish, great, if not, I can look at doing that on Friday.

It's also one of the very few downsides of working in the public sector. I know people who can borrow work vehicles whenever they want. It'd be pretty unethical to borrow a vehicle with MA official plates on it!
