Haha you aren't far from my old roommates. Next time I brew with them which is once in a blue moon, I'll invite you over. And if I go over there, I will bring them! I love getting a group of brewers together.

Yes, that's it. It is the only trail that vehicles can go on. There are side trails that dirt bikes and atvs can go on. Someone was telling me that Taskers gap has an OHV trail as well... IDK about that one and have never seen it. But I've never looked for it.

Ive only been to one side. @boogie3478 was telling me that there is Taskers Gap, which is different. Ive never been. There are plenty of dirt bike trails mixed in there also

Taskers Gap is fun and on the same "difficulty" (easy) as Peter's Mill. I do Tasker's Gap first since it's an in and out straight line trail and then do Peters Mill because that is a long loop that exits somewhere else. The entrance for Tasker's Gap is literally a half mile down the road from the entrance to Peter's Mill. Peter's Mill does have some decent dirt hills to climb right by that pond in the middle.

There is an Exxon gas station in town where I always buy my trail pass. From there it's right up the road.

we can only go on the OHV trail. No way will we fit on an ATV trail. this is the "hardest" what we will encounter (yes that is me)

    going to be fun!
    Sure....

First I am in no way calling you or anyone else an asshole because as for me " I would rather be an asshole than the whole ass" as I have no issue being an ASSHOLE but I like to call it anal-retentive. What I mean is that being a keyboard cowboy you can be TOTALLY misunderstood as a HUGE asshole from the seat of a chair when in all reality you're not. That being said when we get into a conversation from the seat it's extremely hard to cast the non asshole approach sometimes. As we all sit here we all have mulitable personalities and sense of humor or different attitudes on a subject that can and will get off topic at some point and someone will need to step back from the keyboard and take a breath.

Being where I'm at in age and wisdom where I try to see past some stuff but some stuff I just can't for some unknown fucking reason maybe just out of upbringing and respect. But then again it could be if you wanna be a dick/asshole then it's time to receive some back at some point. It really is not a deep philosophical argument to be an asshole If you do so, you are an asshole. If you are an asshole, you should be called out for being one. Is there a rule on being an asshole, I don't think so but it happens as we all have witnessed at some point in our lives.

I hope this helps by what I mean by seeing a trend developing......

you have to buy a trail pass??? lol VA is always going to get their piece of the pie......

oh, yea that shit looks super easy... about how far is it from us David?

no I 100% get that and it makes sense to me. I agree it can be hard to convey tone / humor across a keyboard and usually I dont get caught up in that sort of thing... if someone wants to be "that guy" then go ahead.... but as you said, be prepared because people will react to "that guy"... whether positively or in a negative manner.... but, I personally, dont understand the whole "I enjoy being a dick to people on an internet forum that guys get on to have fun and share a similar interest" but that's each person's individual preference.

I dont dwell on that though... my saltiness is always fleeting and usually passes quickly haha :D

about 1 hour. Not far at all. The trail pass is $5, or you can get a season pass for $30

    per vehicle or per person?

and an hour? that's it? I think we need to do a night run.... (if they allow that sort of thing)... it might make it a little more fun / maybe a little more challenging
