I just shared my experience about after you left, I gave purchasing from them a shot even after you were gone and the parts themselves are well thought out and executed. The shop is nicely stocked and everything is top end, that isn't the issue. The day I stopped by the shop it was slow because everyone was at EJS. The only person that ackowledged me was the young guy and it was almost like I forced him to, it looked like he was dealing with invoices and I kind of b-lined right to him since he was the only one who made eye contact. There was about a half a dozen opportunities for other people at the counter to say hello and see what's up with the new guy. I rolled up in the work van, so maybe that was already getting me a long stare down the nose, whatever the case, a few "hello" greetings from other people at the counter go a long way. Especially the owner, who was just meandering around visiting with employees five feet away. Close enough to give a nod, or a middle finger.

Like Mr.Bill said, I kind of felt like I was bugging them with my meager purchase. Especially when the kid asked me if I had decided on what light bar(s) I planned on running and I mentioned that I wasn't decided. If I had said, throw a couple of those S8 combos and a SwitchHo in the cart, would I have been a superstar customer? Who knows, but, saying hello and being cordial is free and who knows, maybe down the road I end up dumping obscene money into this truck like Jerry and need thousands of dollars in King or Fox, etc. Will I remember the cold shoulder I received that day or my Jeep buddy Marcus at RiverCityOffroad in Austin, TX who helped me put my Jeep together and was patient while I picked his brain and bounced ideas off him on which shocks to go with?

I stated my thoughts and this is the last time I will discuss this on here. I just feel like they lost a good employee and the experience isn't the same without you. You treat everyone like a friend.

OK, let's put this shit to bed and move on to side boob midgets!

SDHQ makes quality shit, no one doubts thats. They are great at marketing and charity, especially to this community.

Now, just like any and every other business they have ups and downs in customer service, some people and some days they are F-Disney level customer service. Other days they are Amy's Bakery level.

The thing we have to do, is allow each other to have their own opinion. If someone says, "I just order my <insert part> from them" then adult the fuck up and say "cool" or nothing at all. If someone asks for a review on a shop, add your 2 cents as to why you don't go there or why they already have both your balls, first born kid, and your wife every other weekend. If you disagree with someone's review and it makes you feel like you have to attack the person, then suck it up butter cup, just like that shaft you had in your mouth last night. Each is allowed to have their own opinion, and the California communists win when we attack each other.

So I gotta make an appointment for my 10k / 1 year Toyodelcare and also have the stink blown out of my A/C...

    Camelback, Earnhardt, or AutoNation?

Riverview is actually closest to me but I hear people bitching about their service dept all the time.

Camelback is my choice, been using them without issue for the past 9 years. Ask for Jose, he's always done me right.

Tried Riverview once with the new truck, I won't be going back. They failed to catch or do the easiest things during my 5k like for example checking windshield fluid levels, but noted on paperwork that everything checked out perfectly. I seriously doubt they checked any fluid levels on the entire truck. I know this seems like a small petty detail but it's a big red flag for me. Chris and the sales team over there are great, the service department is a joke.

I just heard from a co-worker there is a vegan strip club in Vegas..

    Vegan strip club. WTF?

    From google:

What is a "vegan strip club," anyway?

A strip club that serves vegan food, and does not permit dancers to wear animal products onstage, which are the house rules at Casa Diablo, the Portland club where Lynsie Lee works. Strippers may not wear fur, leather, feathers, or wool when performing.

Best part is that a steak house opened up right next to it!

I use both Earnhardt and Camelback cause I dont have to pay a deductible at Camelback with the extra warranty. I start using that in about 4k miles when the factory warranty is up but I did use them for a few free oil changes.

As for Earnhardt, I had a great experience there Sat. I went to fire up the truck before heading out to Glendale and I heard the tell tale sign of a dying battery. I pulled up to the drive cause I was still under 3/36k. They tested the battery on the drive and swapped it right there. Had me in & out in 15 min! Totally makes up for keeping me for 2.5 hours with an appointment to update my HU.

Camelback has access to good places to eat also (Corleone's across the street)
