Traded it with $750 for a 16 4Runner SR5 Premium. I prefer the 4.0 and a smooth transmission. I started getting bearing noise from the rear when coasting, Under a load it was quiet, The new Tacomas IMO are not as good as the previous four I had, I wanted to like it, But the slushy transmission and noises caused me to loose confidence in the Tacoma. The 4Runner has the same room behind the front seats and I can actually load 8-foot pieces of wood without half sticking out the back of the truck.

This may be a dumb question... I assume these work with our heated mirrors? Been looking for a clean blind spot mirror setup for towing.

Thats my impression when I read the posts from other people and on the back it has a couple wire connections so I'm assuming that's for heating.

I'd sell ya mine for $40. Free shipping. Drove it home from the dealer and took it right off.

The Metal teeth that hold the cap to the plastic housing make doing this method almost impossible. The metal teeth dig into the plastic when you try to take them off. I was able to hammer the teeth thing flat to make it fit snug again. Was nice to take it all apart anyhow. I had tons of mud and rocks inside the caps, also between the metal skeleton part and the middle plastic bumper section.. Was able to pressure wash it all clean before reinstalling. I go on trails and such so I pick that stuff up sometimes.

Can anyone give me confirmation that a 245/75R17 will fit on a TRD Sport without rubbing?

Yes. Same wiring on the back of these as on the Tacomas.

I'm kind of leaning towards just masking off the caps and plastidipping them. I always worry about snapping off one of those clips and having a cap hanging there

I've heard that the LEDs are brighter with closer targets, but they're not as bright at further distances on the road compared to the HID. Is that what you're noticing?
