    So I've been a member on here for a few years, still have under 100 posts, but i feel like I had to share this with y'all. Ill start by saying I am a huge fan of leaving a radio looking factory. Helps to not draw attention to thieves if you leave your windows down, blah blah. Most importantly, I think a factory radio looks better, and this is coming from someone who had a $600 double din kenwood in my truck, i just didn't feel like it looked right....The only reason i even wanted an aftermarket radio, was for xm radio...so i found a solution!

    This unit plugs into the back of your existing radio, and tricks your factory head unit into thinking you have another form of a disc changer. Basically its as simple as pressing the "disc" button twice to get to the Xm radio option, pressing it once just utilizes normal CD mode.

    This was my initial test run just making sure the radio worked and it did. (you can still see the random plugs from the climate control) This unit was $299.99 off of Amazon, which may seem like a lot, especially when you can get a decent aftermarket head unit for less than that. But for the person like me, who wants to keep their factory look, heres an option for you if you were wanting satellite radio! :)

    Interesting...i had xm in my stock unit. Cool concept though. I got drawn here because I've been trying to find an adapter to use my factory xm antenna on an aftermarket radio.

    These have been out for a very long time. A Toyota dealership had actually put up some of their own version for sale for like $150. There was a thread on here that has the link somewhere.
