Absolutely it is. A big part of the adventure is getting there and getting home. However, there are some places on that 'ol bucket list that are a lot harder core than what we normally do. If I want to do them, I want to not have to worry about getting home.

The list of places I would tow her to does not include the places we've been so far. The exception might be Hole in the Rock in southern Utah and Rose Garden Hill. I believe the RedHead to be capable enough to do both. Same with Holy Cross and Rubicon but these places are a long way from home. I will probably not do any of these 4 trails because of this and I hate that. I want to do them.

What is the reason you won't do the Rubicon or Holy Cross?

Monte wants to BAD. He's trying to convince me I need to do it as well.

 

You know it, so much torque and so smooth. I'll likely buy that RoadKing and then I also want to add a WR450f to the mix too. I'll leave the sport bike thing to shorter folks, I'm not into track days anyway haha

I want to very very badly. Trying to figure out when i can do it. I might have a week off of labor day weekend to run down during the week.

I mena i think it would tow it fine. But not great. Considering you wouldn't use it for the a lot..wouldn't be a bad buy. But idk what else you would do with it haha

Ben doesn't do hard trails anymore smooth dirt roads only..

Is that how much your trailer weighs? 2200 lbs? Seems like too much.

I could mount the RTT on it and actually use the annex.

 

Very typical actually. Our little 12' motorcycle trailer weighs 2k too

 

Enclosed or flat deck?

 

Its enclosed but the roof and sides are very light (single sheet 22ga aluminum roof and fiber plastic side sheeting) , heaviest single thing on the whole trailer is the rear ramp.

 

yeah think its 1800lbs or 2200..can't remember. Its a double axle 16' car trailer.

 

BEN! Don't work Friday, take off or whatever and we can go wheeling. Trip got pushed back a day

Jerry does nice work. This is a redesign. He claims the ground clearance loss is cut to a minimum with this design. No more that the drain plug protector ring.

The one pictured is for the 8.0 diff.

 

Somebody on here making them? How much?
