So I got my exhaust reroute on the way home now to look it over and raise skids.

It was $89 and they used aluminized piping. Do most places not use stainless. Should I be upset? Pic coming

Hm, I want to see your reroute. I need to get mine done after Moab. I assumed it was stainless, but idk why aluminum wouldn't work.

I assume with it out of the way it doesn't matter. the factory exhaust may ruin before this piece. Actually factory is probably aluminized as well.

Idk, just looking for opinions. Throwing Moab in there every chance you get huh

I'm not mad about welds. My skids were in place so I'm sure they were a bitch to get to.

I will say this if you look at the second pic it appears they made the new pipe slightly bigger so that it slips on and then welded so no leaks should happen at all.

Idk if you would make the trip, but every vehicle I've ever owned has had exhaust work done to it. I go to David at Athens muffler, stand up dude. He's doing mine for 50, but I've been going to him for 6 years, so he wouldn't do that for everyone.
