Car hasn't been driven in about 2.5 weeks. Took it for a drive today (no issues), drive as good as new.

Parked it at the office. There is a good amount of fluid that is dripping out. It is coming out from the tray by the front tire.

Popped the hood for a quick minute. Leak of fluid looks to be directly under all the belts under the radiator.

Wasn't able to get down under the car to see if it is oil (level is ok) or radiator fluid.

Any thoughts or ideas? Will go out in a couple of hours to see what the fluid is.

Can't see the leak well in the pic, but just guessing that if it could be a drip about to fall of the fan hub pulley than it could be water pump letting you know the seal is starting to fail.

Yes its a drip under the fan. My first suspect was water pump. Appreciate it. It has OEM water pump on it still. Ok to drive it 15 miles home you think?

Yeah definitely. Check coolant to be sure, but likely you'll be just fine.

A water pump can leak for ages before it actually fails.

Whoa what??!?!? I was just being a smart ass, but are you seriously putting 100% coolant in without any water?

100% coolant will freeze easier then a 50/50 mix.
Hence the reason (besides the biggest one to make more money by selling you water) most coolant is premixed 50/50.

Yeah, nice find. If it wasn't for the plastic, they'd prolly last a bit longer. Another one will last you a while. Where was it leaking on the radiator? Just curious. I have my own wild and crazy theories on radiator leaks.

Where the aluminum meets the plastic, thats where it was leaking. Hopefully new one lasts 10 years :)

Thanks for the help. As always, you rock. Much appreciated.

No problemo, though it wasn't the issue. But okay, failing at the seal at the transition of the tank and core. Mmmm. Thanks for answering.

Right 50/50 coolant is one of my favorite scams in auto parts. For 10% less cost you get 50% less product.

Its best to keep distilled water to top off if needed. Plus you can always drink it if youre thirsty.

Distilled or regular water will react/absorb with metals from the block and find their own natural balance point.

Just for your information, Toyota red coolant is supposed to be mixed with distilled water, if you read the bottle it tells you to mix it...I'm no moron...hmm
