My wife brought the baby cow home in the rav4, i said fuck this and we got the truck. It was funny to see a cow just chillin in the back acting like it belonged there.

Same here. Softopper is a great option. I leave it up 99% if the time and load the stroller and whatever else back there when the family is along. Plenty of room in the cab for my 1yr old car seat and my 5yr old booster. With that said, my wife hauls the kids around mostly in the Toyota Matrix or Rav4. We might actually sell our 2013 Rav4 and just keep the Matrix and truck. That little car has been soooooo reliable.

We have a Tacoma DCSB and a 4Runner. Family wagon is the 4Runner and can get us most anywhere, and it super comply for a family of 4..Colorado weather is crazy, not unlike a lot of places..but no worries of my wife and kids getting into to much trouble in the 4. Love it. Gas mileage isn't great on either. But I will always own a 4Runner. And I would get rid of my Tacoma before I would the 4Runner. I have a small adventure/utility trailer for any needs a truck bed would solve. Plus I have a RTT on my Tacoma so the bed is just mainly gear storage.

So if possible. Get both! We had a Prius and ditched it because out of the 3 vehicles..I'm keeping the taco and runner...

Yeah we want a 4r eventually. My wife loves them. What year do you have? I figure since my Tacoma is a 2x4 (fine for desert and summer mountain trips) I will for sure get the 4runner in 4x4 and use that for family winter trips to the mountains. She doesn't drive much so not worried about the mileage

-Truck was purchased in 2013 for 37k OTD and I had 72 month 0.25% loan, and at month 8 I refinanced through my FCU and got a 0% for 72months. Seeing as its a Tacoma and holds its value, we focused on other things instead of the truck payment.
-12k info was provided to show that whatever option I go with, subtract the fact that I dont own the truck outright yet.
-If you click my Fulley links in my signature, you can see my fuel usage.

See this is what makes me think to myself sell the Tacoma, buy an old Tacoma AC 4wd, and replace my DC with a 4R.

    1. Sell the Subaru
    2. Buy a camper shell of your liking possibly with roof rack...
    3. Whatever money is left over put toward Tacoma loan

I know your loan is interest free but...debt sucks!

    Good luck!

I had SUVs before and went to full cab Tacoma love it more than SUVs. We had 3 dogs and if you want to haul you still can with the full box . Go test drive a full Tacoma that is 4 doors . Then Decide Trucks are the best♥️♥️♥️

haha no way a minivan competes with the new Durango. 3 rows of leather heated and cooled seats, adaptive cruise, blind spot monitoring, 8 speed automatic, 8" screen, eco mode, sport mode, i can change suspension and steering settings, HEMI, plus mine has the tow package, 7400 pounds. Plus the looks of the durango, specifically the front end are about as muscle car as it gets. Minivans suck

Well... If the minivan is made by Honda or Toyota it will last about 6x as long as the Durango anyway.

Yes I'm sure that's why dodge offers a lifetime warranty on powertrain, and bumper to bumper

thanks tacomamike37. We did look at some mini vans, i just couldnt bring myself to do it. Never been a dodge fan either but figured why not atleast see what they have to offer. they blew us away. Had a minor issue with the Durango and dodge gave me a challenger r/t for a rental for 2 days for free. Always been a chevy guy and loved the new camaro having driven a new SS. Let me say if i ever get one of the new muscle cars, the srt challenger will be number one on my list

Get a camper shell and a bed mat and your dogs will have more space then any other vehicle out there

The Highlander is a great SUV. Drives good, great power, and plenty of interior room. I drove the 2015 Highlander from Phoenix to San Diego. Had the pull down BluRay HD screen. Kids loved it.
