Well, being as I only crawl malls, I tend to not drive through much dirt/mud.

Oh, and I'm a frequent customer of self service car washes.

Yup. Talk with Jake if you're interested in one. He's been waiting for another first gen to come along.

Learned two things in Moab this past week:
    1. Water is able to get into the cab and I need to assess/seal up the tub job a little.
    2. I absolutely hate the pro link.

    Update/trip report to come.

Too bad you didn't have something more useful, like, perhaps....

    .... a hook. :p

I really don't get why people spend so much money on those things. The hook is so quick and easy to use.

Apparently, they're safer to use compared to hooks as well as they're stronger. I honestly just can't justify the $150 for a winch "hook." Unless I have money to blow, I'm pretty okay with just the hook that comes with the winch I get. If I'm breaking a hook, then I'm doing something wrong.

Same. Not sure if its all pro links but my normal 3/4" D ring would not fit through the hole. Of course it was the first time we were using this persons pro link and in 3ft of snow lol
