OK, I will pick some up... I have a couple of appointments in Vista today noon-2pm. I will stop by after unless you text me differently. No problem, whatsoever if it needs to be another day.

I assume you meant "Asian vehicle formula", not a brand called Aisin? There is Zerex Asian Vehicle formula.

    I thought -

More anti freeze than water is worse not better for cooling.

"50-50 mix does not give the best cooling. For improved cooling in hot weather, we should use less antifreeze and more water, perhaps going to a 25/75 or a 20/80 mix ratio."

    Pressure will effect it too.

Yeah there is an Aisin type of coolant that works good. That Zerex stuff isn't bad either.. I mean have you ever had a problem with over heating?

Hey does anyone have a staple gun I could borrow for a day? I ordered a new seat cover for my bike I need to install. I'd need it next weekend if possible (5/13-14)

I have a couple - a manual one that I can easily find and an electric one that I'll need to look for. Let me know if you're still needing this.

A manual one is what I'd need, if it's alright to borrow it for a day I'd definitely appreciate it. I'll shoot ya a PM when the cover arrives. Thank you!

Only once, and it was understandable for the conditions, back in 2006, in Baja, in the summer, deep sand in Matomi Wash, 120°! The gauge needle just went to the top. It never boiled. Just pulled over, let it cool, lowered the tire pressure, all was good!

Anyone need anything picked up from Headstrong? I'm headed up there sometime in the next couple weeks to pick up my kit. My usual haunts are Carlsbad and Del Mar so I can get it at least that far, and could meet further south/east during the week on my lunch break. If you're feeling generous with all that money you'll be saving and are willing to toss me a couple bucks to help cover some of the gas, that's a bonus!

Not set on the day/date yet but have some flexibility. PM me and we can coordinate.
