I find a lot of people like to shit on millennials when they are technically millennials themselves. I'm 33, technically millennial/gen-y. If you're in your 40s you're Gen-X. The worst are fucking baby boomers who think they were the greatest generation on earth.

Lol. That's why I posted that article. Generation X'ers are way more self centered than millennials and like you said baby boomers are a huge reason for a lot of the issues we face today, like massive debt, exploited resources, consumerism at the cost of the environment, etc. I just laugh when I hear people get on their generational high horse. Good and bad with each.

Exactly. Plus, I don't think we have any more stupid people than any previous generation. You just see more idiots because of social media (like you see here on TW). Thank god there were no camera phones around when I was in my teenage years lol.

As much as I love to jump on the boomer-bashing gravy train, looking at it objectively...

    - boomers received much better education than any following generations (certainly than my, millennial generation)
    - boomers had much better opportunities to establish themselves, purchase properties, build careers, etc.
    - boomers are now living in a drastically different world (hello: technology, internet, global market competition, new & unprecedented levels of corruption all across the board)

The average boomer has not been exposed to the world (and struggles) that the average millennial is part of. Their views & opinions stem from their own experiences, so as much as I'd love to, I really can't blame them for their "just go knock on the door and give them your resume"-style approaches.

A tribes-person from Africa can't relate to the third-gen-differential problems, and we can't relate to their clean-water problems. We're both naive idiots to each other.
