17x8 with a 0 offset in gunmetal gray. I could not be happier. The stance is much improved. The whole look is better.

Great find, I didn't think about gen locking lugs. I was just looking for a 24 pack.

I'm picking up my new tires Thursday and the discount tire guy said that since I bought wheels last year and tires this year hat he'd just swap them out on Thursday.

Thank you so much! Those are CTX. I found them on eBay for about $200. I needed them ASAP or I would have saved for the Magnums. They do their job though.

17x9 -12 offset. 285/70/17. Stock suspension. Minor trimming of inner portion fender flares. Also had to push fender lining in after heating with a heat gun. No rubbing on the streets, haven't tried off roading yet. Used goof off for the "8" logo

I'm trying to debate between 16x8 -10 offset, or 17x9 -12 offset. What would some of the advantages/disadvantages to each wheel be? Tire size would likely either be 265/75/16 or 285/75/16 (or something comparable in a 17"... 275/70/17 or 285/70/17). Will it have an effect on trimming significantly? What about the protrusion from the wheel well - will the extra 2mm offset be noticeable?

    Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

I always recommend 17 inch just because of the more tire options out there. But a 16 inch rim and tire are less then a 17.

As for the offset differences since the 17 inch is a 9 inch wide rim and with a -12 offset it will have a 4.5 inch backspace. The 16 inch with a 8 inch wide rim and -10 offset has a 4.11 inch backspace. I ran the 16x8 -10 and it does stick significantly out of the fender well with a 265/75/16 Tire. Assuming you are planning to do a suspension lift going off of the tire sizes, the 17x9 -12 would be the best since it will give you enough back space to clear all the suspension components, won't push the wheel & tire out to far where it will excessively contact sheet metal and body mounts, and with a 9 inch wide rim can support a 285 or even a 315 wide tire.

I am buying these 17x8 and debating between 0 and -12 offset. I will be doing a lift 3" front 2" rear and mounting BFC ko2's 275/70/17, and I want to avoid rubbing. Which offset would you recommend? Thank you for your help!

Either offset works, but the -12 offset will sit ~1/2-inch further out when compared to the 0 offset. The 17x8 0 offset would be the direction I'd lean.

Shoot us a PM if we can help you with a set
