Yea but if I don't it will mold. Way to much moisture for bare wood.
I'm seeing signs now. So painting it a lighter gray so the red top will stand out.

Was 34* this morning when I woke up and raining. By 1600 it was 54, dry and just plain beautiful the sun was out.

I recall doing that, using a sledge hammer to drive a steel post into the stump for penetration then smacking it side to side. Worked well If it was dry enough we would pour used motor oil on it and old kerosene from the space heaters and then build a fire on top of it. It worked and worked well...

Just went out for walk and my knee's were just not feeling it , plus my feet were hurting . was only able to get 8700 steps in today . maybe was the warmer 90 deg temps but feeling better after eating a banana

I was just thinkihg you said you eanted natural the bleach to clean and kill any mold and the poly to preserve natural looking

 

Already tried it. Wasn't enough to satisfy me.

 

If your interested the new Forged in Fire is coming up they have to use barbwire .... No idea not a knife maker but barb wire is definitely not made out of the best material nor even the good material lol ought to be interesting.
