actually, sometimes it wouldn't take much.

All i know is i filled my RAT skid hole. Sucker was huge.

Never would have bought one if it hadn't been under 120 bucks shipped.

Oh not sure on the RAT skid hole, I have a Skid Row, doesn't feel too big to me.

    Stuff. Also things.
The hole in the RAT skid is about that size, maybe smaller.

I've thought about machining a cover for it with countersunk hardware and a beveled edge and all that, but for the wheeling I do, I'm not terribly worried if I never get around to it.

Made a trip up north to the Flagstaff area. Made it to chocolate falls and camped at the edge of the world. Great time, love flying through the roads with these shocks!

I do, this was kind of a last minute idea and I didn't want to mount both my bed rack and tent for such short trip. I do have some planned during the summer that I'll have the rtt for!

I'm going to have to make it a thing to go wheeling with you one day. Either I'm driving down to Arizona, or we're going to one of the National Parks in SoCal.

Definitely would be fun. Little hard to plan things out right now since I'm taking a Summer class over 6 weeks, plus I'm trying to plan trips to Moab, Rubicon (maybe), and anywhere I can fit in time.

You'd have the longest drive out of anyone. If you want to make the trip, then by all mean I won't stop you.

I guess we have a trip to plan... :goingcrazy:

Edit: Unless Mr. Georgia ( @BYJOSHCOOK ) want to join us :spy:

    Car Hauler....? It's a Toyota. Not a Jeep :p

Though in seriousness, if we plan to go somewhere where I'm driving for 2 days, I might ask my dad for his F250 and trailer :anonymous:

I would be asking the old man for his Tundra. No way I'd want to drive my Tacoma that far. It's just not that comfortable on the highway for a long time.

I don't blame you for taking the extra precautions. Though if it adds any comfort, I know a guy who drove his 4runner 2800 miles to the Rubicon Trail, wheeled the whole trail, and then drove home.

It's more of a courtesy to my ears, back and butt for the 15+ hours to get there than it is a precaution. Lol

Oh haha! Wait until you get MTs. You'll learn a whole new meaning of loud. You get use to it though.

Oh I can imagine. The wind noise alone is bad. Plus, my stereo sucks so there's another reason to tow it. :D

I'm currently thinking that sound deadening is down the road for me. Haven't really looked into cost since I actually don't care for the noise. But I also drive alone 99% of the time, so I guess if I have a friend in the car it would be nice not to yell just so they can hear me.
