I just wanted to say a big Thank You to Marv. It's been a decade since I've been involved in building audio systems in vehicles, and needless to say, a lot has changed. Marv has taken several calls, and always returned messages through this process, even with the 3hr E-W time difference. He helped me pick out a system that is best for my taste in music and my budget, and has answered questions that don't even pertain to the equipment I'm purchasing from him. He even talked me out of buying around $1k of additional equipment until I get everything up and running and I'm sure I'll need/want it. I'm pumped to get my order shipped and into my truck, and to see the craftsmanship of the sub box he's making me. Even though he's not local, I'm totally confident that he'll be available to help me out when I start installing and tuning everything. I'll be placing orders through Marv from now on, regardless of deals (though that definitely helps).
If you're in the market for audio for your truck, I highly recommend giving him a call.

    THANKS MARV!!

I definitely believe it. Now hopefully some of these stragglers pay up so he can get this stuff shipped! The waiting is the hardest part...

IMG_20170502_191213.jpg Okay here it is now. But this isn't about me, this is a Testament to Mr. Marv. When this Tragedy happened while I was at work and I had to supply my Insurance with Invoices and what not, I could not supply them, since I was offshore. I called Marv explained my situation, He and His Lovely wife forwarded me the Stored Invoices via Email, Thereby increasing my Insurance settlement by about $2000. Point being Marv goes the extra distance to make a Customer Happy, Before, During, and After the sale! So please if your are on the Fence about any dealings, Throw them to the Side and BUY SOME STUFF! You Will not Regret it. Marv knows his SH**

I'm pumped for the Clarus set up front. I also wound up with the Clarus 10"sub in a Marv box and Imagine coax for rear fill. I'm going to drive it all with the 1100.5. I got in on the deadener GB as well, so I should have everything rattle free. I'm still debating on sealing the doors. I've had to replace window motors in sealed/deadened doors before, and it's not fun. :frusty:

You MUST deadened the Doors, those Clarus REALLY pump it out. It is worth the time and effort believe me

I'm definitely going to deaden the hell out of the doors. Just not sure if I'm going to seal up all the access points to make an "enclosure". I'm sure it'll sound better if I do, but I also don't want to make a mess for myself if a window motor goes in a few years... decisions, decisions...

Sig guy you have the same set-up I'm building now except I'm using an ARC 10 sub. Also is the SIG in your name for Sig Sauer?

Sig if the window motor goes you should be able to cut the deadening material at the accesss holes, if you don't seal the holes with metal.

Nice! I still haven't gotten everything installed, but based on the reviews and Marv's expertise, I'm sure it'll be ridiculous.
I used to shoot a lot of action pistol back when I started on here. I shot mostly Sig P series pistols. Always loved them. I don't get out to shoot as much these days because wife/toddler, but I still have a safe full and get out when I can.

Yea, I'm leaning towards using a few layers of HVAC foil tape over the holes, then dampener over that. It'll make for easy access if I need to get in there while still giving me a good seal, and it should hold up pretty well.

The triggers on those Legions are great. I keep looking at the P229 in 9mm. Good luck with your install. I'm hoping to get mine started sometime next month.

Wow. I remember Mr Marv from the Eliteaudio forum so many years ago. He's been legit for decades.

If I recall you had or may still have an El Camino?
