    Some kind of tail dragger would be ideal for off runway strips. Good deals on cubs pop up every now and again!

    Wish I could join on this one, but my lift is on the way, the bad thing is I won't have time to install it before I leave for a month on TDY... :annoyed: It will be first priority when I get back in the beginning of July...

    Any good trails that gain some good elevation? I want to do something where you can get up in the alpine and get good views. What about Bald MT Trail, is it any good or is it too difficult for our trucks?

    Depends on how wet the trail is, it can get really slick

    I was so close to buying a plane a couple weeks ago when I sold my house in Washington. Would've been awesome but I had to face the reality of how limited my time is outside of work to actually fly.

    Super fun trail I will run later this summer. Right now it is not so good up there. I got a trail report from this weekend that a Ford on 43's and another rig on ags couldn't make it up the hill. The actual trail report was "pancake batter" lol.

    I looked at a few Citabrias set up with big wheels and skis, a modified J3 cub, a few other older tail dragger Pipers and a 172 with a tail wheel conversion.

    I'm gonna be out of country for job related stuff during the best time of year... lol but I ordered Kings and Total Chaos UCAs. Dakar leafs w/flip kit and bumps. Unfortunately it most likely won't all get here before I leave so I won't be able to install it until after I get back. And are you referring to yourself for someone who knows how to install a lift? :thumbsup: Lol
