Not here yet. We're opening several outside bars tomorrow in anticipation of a large crowd for Derby weekend. He made a disingenuous offer to help my crew set up patio furniture yesterday and today, so I called his bluff and told him what spots we needed help with. He's made it a point to be relatively invisible since. I'm starting to learn how to fight fire with fire.

I made the accountant at work scream yesterday.

Her office is directly across the hall from one of the bathrooms. I deduced that if you were sitting on the toilet you'd be looking her right in the eye.

So I dropped the lid on the toilet after making my #1 and sat down on it like I was making a deuce. Cracked open the door, stretched my hand out and said "Annie, hold my hand. This is rough."

She screamed and slammed her office door.

We're the 2nd oldest club in the area and 4th overall oldest in the state. LOADS of history here. Lots of big time politicians from the area, quite a few names from the bourbon industry, almost every famous athlete from the Louisville area (with one significant exception) The last 20 years or so haven't been quite as glorious.

They pay me well primarily because I'm the oldest employee here. No one else knows up from down. They're sensing I'm about to leave and it causes them great concern. I'm just fed up with the petty politics and "upwardly mobile" General Managers that use and discard good employees for their personal gain. Business' in general have no sense of loyalty these days.
