I just went to haspen this past weekend to camp and ride quads for my buddy's birthday. A lot of trails are to tight, and suited more for atv's. But there is a good bit of trails for larger rigs too. I saw mostly jeeps, but there was a couple toyotas running around. I even took out the yota for a couple hours, it was good to be back on the trails. I forgot how capable my rig is.

Any of you know of a good alignment shop I can go to? The place I went to has a jackass tech and he can't get my truck right. It pulls to the right a little and this is the 3rd attempt with them. Here are my results at the bottom of the screen

    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
Could be tires? Rotate them and see if it goes away.

I did and checked the pressure. From the information I've gathered from other members on here I need to get my caster at 2.0-2.5 and everything else close to 0.

Any of you nerds ever run Toyo Open Country MTs?

I'm thinking I'm going the pizza cutter route (255/85/16)- apparently people have been able to fit that size on 3G TRD ORs stock with no rubbing. As hard as I am for Cooper STT Pros they don't make them in that size :(

This fact right here makes me second guess that tire size for me as well. No matter who it's made by

there's really not many options in a 255, but its an excellent tire for our trucks. can be fit with little to no modification, slightly taller than a 285, saves weight (and gas)... really the only two reasons to go 285 instead of 255 is if you like the wider look or you want a specific tire because you can't get it in 255...

until my truck gets a little older, gets retired from a daily driver, and i start cutting things, i'll be sticking with 255's

It seems like the real dilemma with tire choices in the 255's is just because alot of the AT/MT hybrid tires like the STTPro just dont put out tires in that size. It still seems like there's a fair bit of options.

I just am having a hard time passing up being able to run 33's with no modifications and without sacrificing much in the way of DD-ability. I know that extra ~inch of everything clearance would have been my salvation a couple of the places I got hung up at LBL

I was really in on the idea of 255's. I wanted a mud tire. So it was going to be KM2's. Then I saw (in person) a Cooper Discoverer STT Pro. Case closed.

Start cutting. I did the basic trimming, then put the tires on. Found out that I MIGHT have got away with not cutting much if at all. Major tire clearance now! So.....Looking @ 35's next. It never ends.
