Finally got around to swapping the single AAL to the ICON progressive pack. I did remove overload also. What a difference, very happy. Not much change in height, less than a half inch. Thanks @Bannerman for the help!

(No, the brake lines aren't maxed out, there was still plenty of slack.)

I looked at it after you told me about that, but the top of the boot was already sitting directly beneath where the first washer rested. I tried tugging on it but it wasn't moving. It is of course entirely possible that I completely missed something.

I can't remember but perhaps there is something on the rod that it is attached to. If they're on good and tight I wouldn't worry about it. A second uestion would be now that you moved the boots down so that they are looking better at normal ride height what will happen to them when yo go to full exstension? just a thought not trying to be a smart ass

Yeah I need to find a place to flex it out slowly so I can check to make sure the boot is in a safe position.

I took it to C&C in Sterling and the printer for their alignment machine was down that day, so I don't have any actual numbers to report.

With the spc uca's you should easily be able to get castor up to around +3 which should move tires forward enough to eleviate rubbing. just an idea I had 285's on mine and now 33's and haven't needed a cmc yet but all these trucks seem to be a little different also. I have stock uca's and only have alignment castor around +2 with 2.5" lift

    The irony

I TOTALLY understand not wanting to jack up new sliders in transportation. Its just kinda funny considering we buy em to take abuse.

    Nice work there!

unless you're gonna be flexing, off roading right away, you dont have to get the CMC done before mounting those, mainly just trim some of the lower fender plastic. I still havn't done it yet, but its on the list.

I do tend to try and wheel every weekend, but its mainly that I don't want to eat up my new tires. My buddy has 33s and 3 inch lift (similar to me) and he just got new tires and at full lock it ripped off a good chunk of one of the treads. Suppose his tires were so worn before that it was never an issue before.
