Man I hate that 25 meter crap. I like watching targets fall out to 300 and beyond to know I can actually hit. If you ever need help on M4 for promo let me know I can help you get to 38-40/40 or whatever you guys shoot.

So one slider came yesterday and another comes today haha! I opened up the box expecting two and was pretty bummed. You guys just using paint thinner to clean them up, self etching primer 2 coats, truck bed 2 coats and let dry before install?

I think I used acetone to clean up? But same thing to get the oil off. Yes on self etching primer, then whatever you want for paint

Nice Dude!! Some quick advice. Make sure your zerk fittings are threaded. One of mine wasn't and I had to create one after I put the UCAs on. Don't over torque or your'll mushroom the bushing and ensure you use the recommended grease. Just a little lesson learned from yours truly. I end up having to spray a little light coating of oil on it every so often to prevent squeaks, but that's me.

Lot of people don't really understand how to spray paint properly. Start with one VERY light coat (I mean barely even spots on the surface). Wait two minutes. Spray another LIGHT coat. Wait two minutes. Spray another LIGHT coat. Wait two minutes. Spray medium coat and wait for paint to dry completely. If you didn't cover the surface completely with the first 3 light coats, do more (total of 5-6) until everything is coated evenly then do a medium top coat. I would wait 24 hours before installing for full cure.

For prep, I use mineral spirits and self etching primer (coats x 2, light coat, wait five minutes, then medium covering coat).

    Matt
