    Sorry man, one more thing! Did you have a clear protector on your fenders, like near the bottom? Because I do. If so did you leave them on and plasti dip over them?

    Anybody considered dipping just the main, big flat surfaces of the rear chrome bumper caps and leaving the faceted or curved in edge that's adjacent to the plastic chrome or color matched ?? If someone has please share. I think this would be a cool idea to toning down the chrome without full blackout or purchasing color matched pieces.
    Hopefully that made sense. It did in my head, I think. :rofl:

    I dipped over it, and I can see the outlines but it doesn't look bad imo

    Has anyone dipped the lower recessed part of their tailgate?

    Edit: also wondering how close the white plastidip is to oem super white? Thought about dipping the chrome bezel on my grill.

    No glossifiers needed, just use 5-6+ coats of the the matte black dip

    Do the dipped fender flares look pretty close to the actual black plastic fender flares that come on the off-road ? In the pics they look great, but In person they could look different or wierd ...

    Yeah, it almost looks like they came off the Off-Road. It looks much better in person to be honest. Like always, pictures don't do any justice :thumbsup:

    I did them just like @ajsabra did, apply one coat on one fender, then move on to the next one, and so on. You're pretty much going to circle your truck, which will allow enough drying time for each fender. Happy dipping man! Hope everything goes well! :thumbsup:
