I don't have one myself, because my rear diff isn't yet leaking and I haven't taken it in (even though it's on the list). But with forum member's Tacomas being confiscated right and left by the dealer, I thought it might be interesting to see what everybody's getting to drive..

Ugh, I'm taking mine in for inspection on Tuesday :/

 

Mine is in being inspected today, after they replace my failed injector. Praying it doesn't have the leak because I am tired of driving this Camry.

 

I'm holding out until all the dealer has left on the lot is this . . .

 

My loaner looks just like my truck. The differential was checked today. In and out in an hour including the rag light change out and the 25K service.

 

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would see this in a Toyota forum.

 

My dealer was all out of loaner cars so they gave me this

 

All the other loaners were probably worn out from all the use they have been getting.

 

am I the only one that always gets a Taco as a loaner?

Most dealerships have pickup/drop-off service if you're close enough. That can be handy. Other than that, you're on your own.

Hell, the largest local BMW dealership put me in a Honda Fit when I brought my last BMW in for a recall. Told me it would be something like $40/day for a bare-bones 328i. Welcome to British Columbia.

 

Nope. I had a 2017 dcsb, trd or 4x4, auto w/tech jbl a few days. Compliments of a great Toyota dealer.

 

Well at least I got an equivalent Toyota for a loaner.....

 

When I told them I wouldn't go in for inspection unless they gave me something real FuN to drive, this is what they offered me...

 

I had a Prius, now a RAV4. Both are lame.

How bout I don't take the loaner, and you give me $30 bucks a day
