My 2016 Tacoma has GoPro camera mount close to the rear mirror. Just wonder if anyone know how to mod the power from the mirror to connect to the GoPro?

Find +5V in your mirror power send it to pin 1,
put a 100 Ohm resistor between pins 2 and 3 on the charger end
    ground pin 5.

    And there ya go.

Can't you just tap into the high beam wire and put a diode on the wire between fogs and high beam?

Look up the raptor light mod. That will give you a basic idea, I think

Looked that up and that brought some info. I will sort through it.

I find it interesting that there is pretty much zero info on this mod for the 2016 tacomas. I tried fiddling with it today, but no luck. It's been hard to find a diagram of the
relay so I can kow what each prong is....

I will see if I can find anything. You can also pull the relay and bench test I suppose If you want to look that up.

Ya, I'm going to use this as a guide and go through each prong: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...no-splicing-no-bending-100-reversible.309407/

I even tried the exact prong on the relay (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/fog-light-mod-2013.243346/) and used a pig tail to connect it straight to the battery but the fogs did not turn on. Makes me think the other prong is the power in...

I tried every possible combination with the relay, using this concept: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...no-splicing-no-bending-100-reversible.309407/

I was using one of these: https://www.delcity.net/store/Mini-...5_FcCa5hXZevBtiuW6cfwYG3z8mtFMJ6xmBoC-mLw_wcB

and then connecting it to varies fuses within the fuse holders... nothing worked

The fogs would turn on, but not stay on when high beams are on. Either I am doing something wrong, or there are other things going on with the wiring that I do not understand yet.

Any electrical gurus have any thoughts?

@2016trdtacoma just wait. Go look at mesojdm's mods, be patient and if anyone can figure it out he will.
