I've never had them, but I know at least 5 people that do and they love them.

if they didn't take away the driver side "o shit bar", it would make getting in and out much easier with less stress on the seat fabric.

My Carhartt work pants did the same to my seats I would snap a pic but seat covers. I ended up getting some cheapies off eBay for around $45.00 and they have been great so far.

ok, so dealer service manager told the service advisor, "he must be wearing jeans" sliding in and out of that drivers seat! yah? But...we'll replace it one time only for Customer Goodwill...
I said: what??? Customer good will? What about this being a warranty item? The service advisor shrugs her shoulders..
So I'll get the back fabric replaced and then I'm adding some good quality covers front and back. I'm kind of disgusted with the quality of this truck.

Noticed it on my at the year mark, kind of bummed on it but wasn't going to tell Toyota. My Tundra was 10 years old with no issues.

These 3rd suck, or this forum sucks because it's pointing out things that I never noticed before.

You could just drive naked and cover your booty with baby oil so you slide right in. Just saying'...

I mean honestly, what truck buyer would ever wear jeans?

OTOH I've done the seat cover search for you and found exactly what you need. And no worry about ass & back sweet because it'll never seep through the plastic. OR just don't wear pant OR get in and out of your truck...what were you thinking?

Dude, I had the same issue with my second gen. I heard everything you could imagine as an excuse from my dealer. It was my work pants rubbing they said. Nope, I wear a suit to work. Well, maybe on weekends you are wearing pants with Velcro on them. Nope I don't own any. Do you have knives? Yes, I do. It could be the end of your knife protruding out of your pocket. I don't carry a knife on my person, only in my bag. How much do you weigh? None of your business I said. Please demonstrate how you get in and out of your vehicle. I then chewed them out and got a new seat cover just like you for "customer satisfaction " because apparently Toyota is too arrogant to admit that they could have put cheap covers on their seats!

That isn't even unreasonable. I just wasn't sure if you were one of those big fellas that would mash the hell out of any normal car/interior. I'm at 5'7" 170 and I barely leave a crease on the seat.
