Plug and play, pull the speaker grills, pull factory connector from speaker plug into Subaru speaker, install speaker grills.

Since the tweeters are plug and play from Subaru....I wonder if the kicker speakers from a newer Subaru forester will work as a plug and play option too? They look to be about the same size. Would be nice to have a bolt on set of kickers to replace the stock ones.

    Edit: Subaru part # H631SSG000

According to Crutchfield they use the same speaker wiring harness connectors. This might just work!

I did have to order new clips for the headliner. I don't think that is an issue with the double cab.

It depends on how handy you are. I got the bulk pack. 9 sheets. I was able to the roof on an access cab, the rear wall behind the seats, and has 2.5 sheets left over that will go on the doors.

This is big news! I just ordered the tweeters. Would really be awesome if we could swap out all the speakers. Who's gonna take the plunge??

The only real issue I see at the moment is the placement of the harness clips. The 6"x9" is on the side of the kicker and the bottom of the oem. The 6.5" might be a little bit off, but with the extended wiring wrapping it from the bottom around to the side would be long enough to reach. Other then that it looks like it should all match up. I've been checking craigslist to see if any wrecked foresters in my area have the audio upgrade.

:spy: Went lurking on the forester forums and I found the install instructions to better see the placement of the clips.

Most of them seem to like the upgrade over stock especially the tweeters.

More details on holster mount. Please

I've been trying to think of a way to mount handgun holster. Thought about buying left handed kydex holster and screwing into plastic near cup holders. This seems easier.

Got post-lift alignment, VSC recalibration, and diff recall check. Toyota dealer got good alignment numbers, service advisor gave 10% discount on alignment and didn't charge for recalibration. No more tip-toe look and i think it actually drives better than stock. I think just about the entire dealer staff came to look at the truck and take pictures when I went to see my buddy in the sales area.

Now I gotta sell these stock wheels/tires so i can order these Nitro gears...
