The White Widow on garlic herb, loaded, no onions, is a favorite of mine.
I also like The Kind, done the same way.

So for those of you with nice garages (residential, not commercial)... what's the lowest ceiling height required to hang a topper up out of the way?

Right now my rafters are at 8' and it's obviously not only absurd but also logistically impossible to hang my topper from it.

    *Minimum garage height.
You could hang it in the back of the garage, and then back the truck in.

I don't think you understand just how low and in the way a topper hangs in a garage that's 10x20x8'

A bunch of wise guys here.

Under the assumption, anyone can make, even if I backed in and hung the topper I wouldn't be able to walk around it to:

    1. Get to my tool boxes
    2. Get to my workbench
    3. Get into my house

Some ummmm... does anyone have an answer to my question?

Some people, who yet other people would call paranoid, get a spring clamp and put it over the thing so that lever can't come up from the closed position.

I bought one of those things in a group buy years ago. I think it's still in a box in the basement with my other small parts from my hitch plug 'relocation'.

I'm not trying to be a smartass here (not really) but, how tall are you + how tall is the shell from the bed rails + 6" = minimum height. Past that, whatever gets you six inches off the bed rails is technically 'enough'.
