Great Eddy makes a great produt I'd like to see some more of up here but most in this area are hooked on Mobtown. I'm ot trying in any way to discount their products but would like to see Eddy's expand in this area.

Ah, armor part 2: 4cyl skids the adventure begins!
As I was advised about the most practical way to proceed with this build multiple sources told me armor up first. Get that investment out of the way to protect what I have and then worry about other stuff. I usually do a little asking of experienced people and a little research and listen to what I'm told in this case when @TacoFMS and @CVYota both told me hands down armoring was very important as a next step to prevent damage I listened.
I saw vendors were having their sales after Christmas and decided to take advantage of them and liking to keep my buisness local I decided to contact Mobtown first. They told me the IFS skid would work but the others would not and they weren't willing to make any adaptations to make them work. This offended me but we have spoken and worked out our differences since then. I then moved along to contacting just about every other vendor I could find to either have them shut me down or never even contact me back after multiple attempts save 2 Pelfreybuilt and SOS Concepts. I decided to go with SOS for if no other reason than that's who made my bumper.
Eddy at SOS and I communicated several times and he, like the others, said he wasn't sure about fittment as he explained vendors base their skid plate fabrication off of a V6 M/T. I already understood that a V6 and a 4cyl oil drain plugs are in slightly different locations but at least he was willing to work with me. I'd like to thank @EddyRRT and @JimboAnz for their help and cooperation with this. I ordered ny skids just after the sale was over but Eddy extended the discount to me and fabbed them as per my request with the oil drain hole delete on the IFS skid.
When they showed up (suprisingly quickly) the fun began. I mounted the IFS skid which bolted rt up, climbed under the truck and used a large deep well socket to place where the oil drain hole should be, marked it, dropped the pan and cut it out. I remounted the ifs skid and tried to mount the mid skid and ran into my issue, it was 2" too short. I went to the machine shop and purchase a piece of 3/16 steel, cut the skid in front of the rear mounting tab, and then rehung the front part of the skid to the ifs skid and hung the rear mounting tab in its mounted location and measured. I cut the strip of steel to the measurements I needed and welded in the splice to achieve the necessary dimensions. The t-case skid thankfully bolted rt up after test fitting and drilling the holes in the frame. This shit aint fun with 1 hand. All the steel was cleaned, etch primed, and coated with bedliner prior to installation. I did also figure out along the way that you can get the t-case skid with the crossover bumpout delete as a 4cyl has no crossover.
As my truck is a 4cyl I've accepted the added challenge of trying to keep it as lite as possible, however, in some instances the added weight of steel over aluminum is inevitable. This of course is only relevent to the owners intended use.
I'd also like to acknowlege @TYetti in the time he took to discuss some of this with me also having a 4cyl albeit 1 that is really well built and far more to it than mine. I am not so stupid as to not listen to peope with more experience than I have.

Thought I was cool here dipping the factory splash guard white it was something to do

Thanks for reading now I've got to figure something out for tomorrow have a wonderful day!
