I know you were joking @jAndyMendo but I literally just turned on my laptop for the first time today and it starts up and showed the loading screen... Right before the screen goes out again

At this point, I have no idea what the fuck is going on.

Also, I tried an external display plugged in but that shows nothing.

sounds bad. have fun with that. if it was in front of me it is prob a easy troubleshoot to tell you how much money you need to spend. there are a lot of lists on google searches, but you dont get far enough for most of them. time for a new laptop if you were me, I love finding reasons to light electronics on fire...

Put a box end wrench on the top part of the shaft, another on the nut, tighten.

Or just use 2 crescent wrenches.
