This was my night last night.

 

i am back!!!! last night until sunday

 

Well everyone it has been a great time talking with everyone on the other 12.
but I just took a new job and will be on days. 4 tens the back side of the week

Night 2 of 3 then have the weekend off. Starting Friday at 5am

 

nice, i get off tonight until sunday night, unless of course i get called in again

 

Luckily we don't have to worry about being called in unless it's an emergency and someone calls in sick. I've never been called in to cover in my 3 years here

 

checking in, 4 of 5. Some Asshat day shift mouth breather broke my dang desk. freaking morons

 

i have been called out three times in the last month

Damn that sucks, unless you get OT which we don't.

Comp time then?

 

I really feel sorry for salaried peeps. I know they are paid for slightly over 40 hours and make more of working wage, but I hate being at work outside my normal time slots without being compensated extra.

I only hope when the profit sharing bonus's come out, they get a decent cut.

I got no problem being a boot on the ground. When I clock out, my headaches are over until the next shift.

Salaried people, for the most part, I feel bad for. Some of the big wigs salaries are generous enough that I don't

 

We're salaried but get comp time. I'd rather make ot for doubles and snow emergencies. Our contract is up in July and they're trying to negotiate for us as we're the only 24/7 op in the court system here.
